I don't know why they even bother, if they aren't going to innovate at all. The little "new" features they add are just trivial shit, rather than anything with any kind of new ideas on interface/efficiency. People keep making new ones, but for the most part, they're functionally no different to the ones we had in the 90s. They all fucking suck.Įmail clients basically haven't evolved since the 90s. I've wasted so much time searching on the years. I'm extremely busy, have a massive tendence to procrastinate, and need something that does what Thunderbird was doing for a while ie multiple email addresses and able to sync multiple calendars effectively.Ĭan anyone recommend a client that just WORKS and looks good too? I don't have a lot of money, but I'm happy to pay a small amount for something if it means there will be support if things go wrong. I've seen others with these issues, but they never seem to be resolved and I haven't had responses to my own requests for help either. It's also impossible to dismiss events that have been automatically added to my Google Calendar for years now.

This is really embarassing and has led to more than one event being marked as 'Meeting' where I don't know who it's with or what it's about. Since the most recent update, meeting invites I accept get updated to MY details. I absolutely love Thunderbird but have been having Lightning calendar-related issues for several weeks now. I've been using Thunderbird for personal projects and Outlook for work projects where the company uses 360.
